FLIR

In September 2017 and August 2019, Fernandes Tourinho Street, in Belo Horizonte, hosted the Livro na Rua Festival (FLIR). The festival aims at promoting street bookstores, which are important spaces for readers to physically connect with books.
Micrópolis was in charge of the spatial design, assembly and arrangement of book stands made of modular boxes that served as support for the booksellers to occupy two blocks of the street. In addition to the literary fair, the event featured concerts, storytelling presentations and local food and drinks.
